About

Who builds SeedStand.

A small software company in Michigan, making order software for district plant sales.

The company

SeedStand is built and operated by Sequel Solutions LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Michigan. We write the software and run it. There is no reseller and no white-label partner. The services it runs on are listed in the privacy policy.

Questions, help and bug reports go to support@seedstand.org. More ways to get in touch are on the contact page.

What the product is for

Conservation districts and soil-and-water districts across the United States run tree and native plant sales. Many take orders on a paper form and on a website at the same time, and some close the two on different dates because the paper orders are reconciled by hand.

SeedStand puts both channels against one inventory. A check that arrives in the mail is typed in by the district and draws down the same number an online order does. On pickup day, volunteers check people in from their own phones with no account and no password.

How we sell

Our pricing is published on the website. You do not need to book a call to see a number, you do not need to talk to us to start, and we do not run a sales team. If the price works for your district, you can sign up and begin.

We also do not sell, rent, or broker your customer data. A district's mailing list belongs to that district and is exportable at any time, in full, without asking us. The privacy policy says so too.

Security and payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are never collected by, transmitted through, or stored on SeedStand's servers. Each district chooses how its customers can pay: card online, cash or check at pickup, or a check by mail. A district can run a whole season without card payments.

Please report security issues to security@seedstand.org.
